I made one that uses fiberglass for all curves with a flat bottom and flat top in a 3rd gen. It had to go in in 3 pieces and I would do it different a second time... if you have any interest in trying your hand at fiberglass I could get some pics taken.

looking at building one soon myself. im not looking at spending much at all on this...itll pretty much be holding some tow straps, d-shackles, jumper cables and maybe some random stuff. ive got the dimensions almost worked out to what i want, and it will be strong enough to hold what i need to be held. this will be a low-budget build complete with specs of everything. ive already got the wood and will begin cutting tomorrow...

All I see are red X's in the other thread to. Wonder why they aren't working.
I'm going to do this some time to, just have to finalize a design, then get the extra cash to actually do it.
