Can you clean the VAF

I've search on here, appears nothing. Is it possible to clean the VAF like one would with the MAF? If so, exactly how would one go about it?

There's really nothing to clean on a VAF. The MAFs need cleaned because the wires get hot and cook on a layer of dust, which affects the sensitivity. A VAF is just a flap which moves with airflow, so any dust on it wouldn't have the same effect.

ok, good to know. cross that off the list to do. now only 1,845,792 things left to do!

I suppose you could clean the dust off the flap.
VAF is a potentiometer so no need to clean any electricals like a MAF.
