brake lights fixed now turn signal out!
Hi I have a 1991 Toyota pickup ext cab DLX 4WD V6. My drivers side rear brake light was out. Changed bulb did not fix. Ordered new tail light assembly as old one was corroded. Still did not fix brake light. Running light
works, turn signal works brake light not working. Chased wires and found a broken wire, fixed wire and brake lights work fine now! Only problem is now the turn signal does not work. This is on the drivers side rear. All other
turn signals work. Drivers rear does not work with hazards on either. When I activate left turn signal the indicator on dash blinks fast. Bulbs are good and tail light assembly is brand new. The turn signals worked fine before I fixed the brake light.
Any suggestions what I do next?

The wire was broken at the rear behind the license plate. It was part of the wiring bundle coming from the passenger tail light across to the drivers side tail light. The wire is green with purple circles every few inches
with a white stripe. Once I spliced it back together the brake light started to work, but turn signal that was working before stopped working. I did leave power in the wire by keeping brake pedal pushed down, but I checked
fuses to see if any blew to a short but none were blown at the fuse panel driver side left kick panel. I did not check fuses under the hood.

1) Connection to rear driver's side bulb broken, OR
2) That bulb is open. how did you verify that the bulb is good?
Need to check wiring / connections to rear driver side bulb AND double-check that bulb. (Pls see signature)
