brake and charge light on
 

my brake/charge light are on and my battery is new alternator test good and is charging at 14.53v-14.55v. however i noticed on my 7.5 amp charge fuse both sides have low low voltage .003-.013. any ideas? truck runs great but light is on. thanks p.s 87 4wd 22r

You have a wiring issue, blown Alt 80 amp fuse, or a bad alternator.

my truck did that when the alternator was on it's way out....

did you loose power at the charge fuse?

i never tested anything. i knew it was the alt. when it went bad. the truck died at a redlight and wouldn't take a jump.

wish my truck warned me when my alternator went out. It died suddenly and left us stranded on a cold, rainy night.
