Best thermostat temp for 22re
what is the best thermostat temp rating for a 22re. im replacing my water pump so i thought i might as well replace the thermostat too. is the lower the temp the better or is there a better medium? thanks

I believe OEM is 195 if I'm not mistaken, and the OEM temp is obviously the best one to go with
it's also best to go with one from a dealership too, as they have the little bypass valve in them that helps prevent overheating with the heater on, among other things
it's not really a good idea to go with one of a lower temp, since the engine will never fully reach operating temp, and MPG and even power will suffer
