NGK plugs, napa rotor and cap, toyota wires

Toyota wires are the best but the cap and rotor can be bought anywhere with just about the same quality as Toyota. If you choose not to get wires from the dealer, get NGK, Belden or Beck Arnley wires. Fuel filter you can get anywhere. Plugs I would go to Autozone since they carry Nippon-Denso spark plugs or they used to. If not use NGK.

Im using autozone wires and cap and rotor. No problems here.

I've always leaned towards stock for the wires. However, I just ordered some NGK wires.

NGK all the way i say.

unless running an msd etc, i would think almost anything would work. although I like using and have been on several vehicles including with nitrous the ngk v-powers. Platinum and iridium plugs are overrated i think.

DupermanDave 11-03-2009 09:18 AM

why NGK over anything else? Does NGK provide better power, or last longer?

skjos 11-03-2009 10:29 AM

I'd stick with Denso (OEM) or NGK.
I went with NGK components because they were less expensive than ordering OEM parts and they perform just as well (in my exerience).

In my personal experience, OEM is the best.

Realistically, you are going to get 20 different opinions with 20 different experiences. I see time and again the low quality aftermarket parts fail. For things that can leave me stranded, I trust OEM parts that are designed to go 20 years without failing.
