ARB bumper
 

I recently got an ARB deluxe front bumper off market place (part number 3414070) and while I was trying to install it I noticed I had to cut some brackets but no where in the instructions did it say to cut anything. Then I noticed the sticker inside the bumper and it said it's for an 89-97 hilux/4runner, and on 4WPs website after I enter the truck details the bumper that pops up is the same part number. Has anyone else installed this bumper, is there any cutting involved? Thanks

I went through the same thing with the same part number on my 1987 4Runner. On the truck's frame, the two upper bumper mounting tabs have to be cut off. On the bumper, on each of the wings just inboard of the turn signal, there is a brace with a three or four inch circular hole which needs to be trimmed so it doesn't hit anything.
