another question, block markings
got the whole engine torn down and found the bearings ummm a little trashed:D and im going to replace them, but before i do, im looking at the rear of the block on the surface where the oilpan goes and its marked with 2 2 2 2 2 2, what does this mean? does it mean i have #2 bearings? i tried measuring everything with my telescope bore measurer but its not perfectly acurate....

found out that my rods are all marked as #2 bearings and i found a way to measure them correctly. now to go measure the bore:D

Check out the chart at the bottom of EG2-104 http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...ne/69cylin.pdf. When you buy the rod/main bearings at the dealer they ask you what number they are. Use the chart to find out. This is helpful if you plan on using a crank from another engine (like I'm going to do).
