Another 4wd light Issue (I searched also)

Good afternoon guys. I recently purchased a 92 SR5 ExCab. Its a 3.0, auto trans and ADD locking hubs. I also noticed the my 4wd light was not coming on either. I did search this forum and found about 15 threads about this. Here is the backaround of the truck and what I have done to T-shoot this already:

I purchased the truck with a snapped t-belt. The auto trans was replaced a year proir and also the rear diff. There was no rust on the truck. I replaced the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, idler, coolant, power steering pump. I only bought the truck for $350.

I have researched this site fir three days and I printed out a bunch of diagrams to follow. Here is what I know and have check already:

1. When I shift the level from 2wd to 4wd, I here the click in the dash (ADD relay)
2. The plug is plugged into the ADD actuator.
3. The VSV's are plugged in.

Here are my questions:

1. When the truck is shifted in 2wd the BROWN actuator is sucking, when the truck is shifted in 4wd, the blue one is sucking. Isn't it the other way around?

2. My left front driveshaft is locked when the truck is in 2wd and 4wd? What is stuck?

Thanks,

Chris

That's what I was wondering. Try putting it in 4x4 and maybe you'll find it's just your bulb thats burnt out. I'm not 100% but I think with ADD your driveline is supposed to always be locked up and it's just your hubs or cv axles that engage or disengage when you put it in or out of 4x4

you won't be able to spin your driveshaft by hand in 4hi/lo if the ADD is working properly. give that a shot.

Also, there is a couple of wires in the front, that connects near the shift fork. Check and make sure that is connected properly.

My problem with mine was that the vsv's didn't work or something, so what i did is put the front end on jack stands and tinkered with the vacuum lines until the front end locked. When you turn one wheel, the other one turns too!
