Aisin help, took the new to me yota in the shop, came back with no good work
First off I have searched, but really cant pinpoint an answer.
hey guys, Im new to the yota scene, and I just picked up a southern 86 4runner. Anyway, I took it into a shop (because of my lack of time before I drove it across country) to get the once over. Long story short, I think when the shop greased the hubs and put them back in they did not test them. I get up to Chicago, and they are totally frozen, as in I can not turn the dials at all. I took the covers off, and tried to slide them back in, bolt them down, same problem. The springs are all in there, and everything looks good minus one of the clutches. Is there a certain way to be putting them back in, as in with the clutch lining up with a certain part, they turn when I have the cover off the yota, but as soon as I start bolting them down, frozen. Since I have them off, its looking like I will be doing a rebuild on them, can I get most all the parts at the dealership? the only one I will need minus the gaskets is one of the clutches, it looks a little bent.
Thanks for the help yota gods.
wheel on.

here are some good forums on rebuilding them. The first one has more links to other forums at the top of the page. Hope it goes well !
