Aftermarket Spark Plug Wires

What is everyone running for wires, Im back in another Yota again, except this time its bagged, Anyways, I put some new plugs in it the other day and I noticed how dinky the wires were. They look like speaker wire haha, Anyway, they are original 1994 wires...I was gonna put some MSDs on it that my g/f had secretly ordered for me but they were v6 wires...Just wondering what everyone is running for a bigger more performance wire, LC wires for 93-95 are like $77 just seeing if there were any better options

Bigger wire doesn't mean anything - in stereo OR sparkplugs. The big thing with sparkplug wires is to make sure they have an actual wire core. A lot of them use a carbon filament that develops cracks over time, and the spark has to jump those little gaps. If you ARE going to use that kind of wire, they need to be replaced pretty frequently. If you use the metal cored ones, they will last a VERY long time.

Don't forget the dielectric grease in the boots!

I run Accel 8.8mm High temp Radio Suppression Spiral Core in the 71 Chevy C10 (Distributer and Coil were located about 3 inches from the rear of the Radio) and Dad has Taylor 9 and 10 mm (whatever they call their High end model) in his 76 Camero and 69 Chevelle (respectively). All are Custom Lengths.

The Taylors have lasted and the Accel's have not (I'm on the 3rd set now).

I've got el cheapo's in the Yota (just waiting till a wire goes bad)
