After market exhaust installation question
My cat converter and downpipe are due to be replaced as they are corroded (and stock). I bought a new muffler already and have had it installed for a while and it's totally fine. I was about to pull the trigger on a new downpipe and cat converter when I noticed an entire aftermarket kit for only 50 bucks more than buying those two items. This is what I found:
http://www.jegs.com/i/Pace+Setter/766/86-2800/10002/-1 I have a 1993 with 22re, std cab and bed. If this is (or other kits you should recommend!) are a direct fit setup with no modification required, I'd be more inclined to buy that (more flow is always better, right?) Is this a direct fit? I'm not picky about performance increases really but if a new exhaust (no headers though) is around my price range and direct fit, I'm open to it. Ideas? |
When you click on the link it says its 233.99, and yes it would be a direct fit

Stay away from the pace setter header. They are JUNK
Look on craigslist for a used one of good quality or even ebay. Being patient and getting a quality one will pay off in the long run. |
