AC parts 86 22RE best Sources??
Hi: Anyone know how to find best price & good quality AC parts? Also any experience or advice for repairing AC compressor, dryer, expansion valve etc. 86 Toyota 1 ton pick up 22RE.
I heard many parts don't have quality to last long..Any help would be great.
With just filling it with R12 it's only blowing 70 degrees max..

I don't have any personal experience other than posting questions on their forum and calling them, which was pretty helpful. The guys are very helpful and knowledgable about different A/C systems. The prices are pretty competitive and I've seen them referred to in other auto forums.

Thanks - Great site
All around site for AC's. Thanks - I'll Call them ASAP. Next challenge is to figure out what I have and match parts. My brother says never get a compressor from junk yard due to the orings or rubber parts - The kit looks safer. I love this site!!!

I take it going w/ something 3rd party like that would be a good approach for installing AC on a truck that never had AC installed from the factory?
My 92 pickup came w/o AC, so it has no system at all, and now I'd kinda like to install one!
I'll check the 'kit' site out, but does anyone have any suggestions for a retro-fit or OEM type install (and related cost)????
Thanks!
