a340H inchworm adaptor install no gears
I just completed the inchworm A340H to gear transfer case install. Pretty intensive install but it appears everything went together correctly. I filled the auto and transfer case and started it up to find i have no forward or reverse motion what so ever. I have double checked all the wiring and linkage. The park appears to be releasing as i can turn the output shaft on the transfer case when the transmission is in neutral. But when in park it holds tight.
The only thing that did not go to smoothly was the actual install of the coupler between the transmission output and transfer case input. It was extremely tight going on and after the install the shafts are fairly difficult to turn, but do still move with a wrench.
Since i was in the valve body i also went ahead and installed new solenoids.
I guess my question would be what actually tells the transmission if it is in revers or forward, because i do not even hear a difference in tone of the engine when i change the gears. I would think if something was locked up i would be seeing a change in RPMs at least.
Give me your thoughts.

Just an update the issue was with the valve body install. When you install the valve body there is a valve that needs to align with the manual shift lever. There is a great video done by IPT that shows this lever and how to install correctly.
