95 4Runner Intermittent stalling CHALLENGE
Purchased a 95 4runner from a guy who had a intermittant stalling issue but only when hot.
He has literally replaced almost everything on it.
Here is what I have done:
Removed and cleaned EGR and Intake.
I also replaced the TPS and that seemed to cure the problem for about half a day. I now have a flashing CEL and flashing O/D light. This happens within seconds of starting when cold. Also occassionally stalls as well.
I am wondering if the TPS is out of adjustment that would cause the flashing lights? Or is this just a coincidence?
I do not have any stored codes.
What I know is new on the truck:
TPS, coolant temp sensor for ECM, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, MAF, fuel tank has been dropped, cleaned and pump tested.
Vacuum tests show excellent results. Idle is great, no hesitation.
I Challenge all you good mechanics to lead me in the right direction. I will reply to any suggestions
Thanks in advance
