94 4runner runnin rich, runnin hot!
I replaced the head gasket and timing belt on a friend of mines 4runner. it cranked right up but idled a bit high. i thought i may have a vacum leak, i havnt really checked other than just makin sure everything looks hooked up. it smells super rich, smokes and it ran hot. what have i done wrong?

Its a 3vze. after further consideration, and a little embarrasment, i think the timing may be too far advanced. that seems to explain the high idle and it runnin hot, but i dont know about the rich mixture
