93 pickup suspension lift suggestions
I've been saving up to lift my rig for a while now and wanted to see what you guys think. http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/toyota4_86_96.htm The rough country kit looks like the way to go for me but I wanted to see if anyone has used the same kit and if it's a good price.

It's a suspension body lift or a bracket lift made for looks and the mall.
2" lift is about max on the stock suspension without SAS. Really just depends on what you want lift for. :wabbit2: |
Read up on 2" OME Medium duty suspension, it might interest you over going with a bracket lift.
I've got one (minus new HD t-bars because no winch). It'll give you 2" lift. I got my kit through trdparts4u and their kit seemed more complete than others because it included SDORI BJ spacers and a SDORI IFS brace at the time. If I'd do it again, skip the new ubolts and get a ubolt flip kit to take advantage of more clearance and repositioned shocks for more travel. Also, I never got new shackles, but now that its broken in, trucks level, and I wish I had maybe 1-2" longer shackles for .5-1" more lift in rear for slight rake because I haul stuff occasionally. I run 33x12.5s on this setup and am very happy with performance and looks. If you search you'll find some pics of my rig on YT. |
