93 4x4 Truck Vibration Issue at 50 mph

At around 50mph I am getting a really bad vibration that seems to be RPM related. If I let off the gas the vibration goes away...If I give it just a little gas the vibration is at its worst...If I floor it..the vibration is still there but not as bad. I originally thought it was a distributor issue, but everything looks good and clean, plug wires are solid. Did'nt know if it might be a coil or fuel injector sensor....or something in the transmission.....anybody got any ideas? I have 220,000 miles on it but it has run like a champ.....this just started suddenly. Thanks
Scott

tires need balancing? if so, usually it will vibe at a certain speed but go away if you go faster or slower.

I was thinking it could be drive shaft vibration too. Any good ideas on how to test to see if that is it and better yet...how to fix it?

where is the vib from in your seat or is it in your steering wheel, if in your seat it will be tire balance but if its in your steering wheel it my be your steering. check your pitman arm, idler arm, or your tie rod ends
