92 pickup stalling and shutting off.
I've been restoring a 1992 3.0 vze pickup. I got the truck running after replacing the fuel lines, tank, pump, strainer, and filter. I also replaced the spark plugs, and distributor cap.
As for the issue, the truck can idle, with no problem, but if I drive, I can go a few hundred feet, unable to touch 10 mph then the truck just shuts off. I can wait a momemt and start it back up. Any suggestions what could be causing this? No engine codes, no misfiring no engine issues just shuts off.
Thanks

Sounds electrical. You might check all the wires of components you have worked on and make sure the connections are good.
When it shuts off, does just the engine die? Or does the entire electrical system shut off?

I checked the electrical connections, nothing lose. So when driving the truck if you let it move without touching the pedal it's fine but if you touch the gas pedal it instantly shuts off everything, including electrical. There isn't a sputter or anything.

If I recall, the only electrical component connected to the throttle is the TPS.
I've seen issues before where the main relay had a bad ground, and if accessories like the horn or washer fluid sprayer were used they would steal the ground and cause a shut down condition. A few minutes later the car would always restart.
In my opinion it sounds like your TPS may be stealing a ground in a similar manner. I'd start by unplugging the TPS and see if it still happens. If not start checking the relay grounds in the main fuse box under the hood.
