92 P/U 22RE 5-Speed Cranks over strangely

My 92 P/U was sitting for 5+ years, I had to replace the fuel pump due to sitting so long without being started. Also replaced all the fluids, filters, belt, battery, etc. It starts and runs great and even easily passed the Ca smog test. The weird thing is when you first crank it over when the engine is cold, it's cranking very fast like it has no compression. After a few seconds it cranks normally and starts up. Once the engine is warm it cranks over normally. The truck only has 64,000 miles, I'm the original owner. I did a cylinder balance test and #1 is slightly weak, haven't done a compression test yet. If I recall correctly the timing chain tensioner is oil pressure controlled, and you're supposed to use an oil filter with an anti-drainback valve. It's a bosch oil filter and I think it had one. Any ideas why it cranks over too fast like there's no compression in the cylinders?

I'm going to try going back to Castrol 20W50 GTX with a Fram oil filter like I used to use to see if this problem goes away. Unless anyone has another idea? I can't find anything else to explain why it cranks over very fast when cold, it's like cranking it over with the spark plugs out. When the oil pressure comes up it slows down and starts. No noises from the engine once it starts.

Yesterday I changed the oil & filter, went back to Castrol 20W-50 GTX and Fram filter. Let it sit, cranked it over this morning and it seems to be fixed. The old Bosch filter does have an anti-drainback valve in it, so does the new Fram. It cranks more normally now and started up quicker. Never ran into this in 30 years of twisting wrenches. Darn, nothing to fix now.
Edit: Day 2 cold start was normal, guess I'll never use Bosch 3330 oil filter again.
