'90 database
Hello All;
Is there a '90 Toy. database matching vin.# to original factory supplied powertrain serial #'s? Thank you; Z |
To the best of my knowledge, no.
Now, that said, it is conceivable that somewhere in Toyota's manufacturing archives that info exists, but I've never seen or heard of a way to get data like that. And I remember asking a few times bitd when dealing with a recovered stolen vehicle that had altered vin#s |
Toyota most likely has that information somewhere, but I have yet to see it become publicly available, or even available to the dealerships.
It would be cool to be able to get a printout like a Ford Mustang showing the original numbers-matching components, but I haven't seen anything like that from Toyota. :safari: |
Whenever we replaced a shortblock, head, or transmission under warranty or recall we never had to supply updated serial numbers to the factory database.

Well, that's that.
Thanks to All, Z |
