89 toyota truck, any input?
 
recently picked up a 89 Toyota truck 3.0 4x4 auto ext. cab, dlx model I believe
Seems to be rust free and stock except for larger tires
just curious on any input good or bad about this particular truck

Haha well if yr not mechanically inclined sell it for a 4cyl. Jk just the damn 3.0 are big a problematic. Head gasket failure. I'd check out some threads on them and see what people do to make them last. I know headers are a good investment on them

X2 on the fun, but really the first thing to do is get caught up on any maintenance that it needs.
Didn't give us a whole lot to go on, like mileage and condition or pics.
Pics or it didn't happen....

Have an 89 as well
 
Just so you guys know the 89 was except from the recall and head gasket issues so no need to worry there.

Really were the 88 - 91 like that? Just out of curiosity I have seen quite a few 88 trucks and runners last for long time
