I noticed the other day a vibration while driving down the road. So I checked it when I got home and I got a bad ujoint in the back end of the drive shaft. no biggie. So I am gonna change it the next chance I get. But since then I have also noticed a little thump when I change gears and press down on the gas. Is this the ujoint/drive shaft issue still or a tranny issue???? Man I hope it is just that ujoint. causing both the vibration and the thump when I change gears and press on the gas or just press on the gas fast period..

That's the u joint. When you let off the gas the unjoint slacks and then when you accelerate it tightens back up again and makes that noise

Thanks! Man that makes me feel better. I was hoping that was all it was. Im going to get the old one out tomorrow while im off and get a new one back in it. Thanks again!
