88 4runner fuel sending unit

Hey guys my sending unit went bad. Is there any good aftermarket ones out there or would any of you be willing to sell a spare that you may have?

Nobody ever followed up on this one, but I'm building a '86 truck and need the same thing. My fear is that any used one May be in bad shape especially if it has been sitting for a while.

Is there a decent aftermarket unit?

Same problem here.

I needed one for my 88 pickup and got a good used one from the parts for sale section of Marlin Crawler forum.

It's "Almost anything you want in Missouri" post.

Cool info:

a 1985 4wd tercel wagon has the exact same fuel sender unit. It even has the same resistance values and bolt pattern.

I got one from a junkyard for $10.

I used one out of a 92 Toyota pickup because I have one as a parts truck but I went with a huge upgrade. Now I'm driving a 98 supercharged 4runner
