87 Front Caliper anti-rattle spring

87 Front Caliper anti-rattle spring
Sort of a dumb question, but I am putting in new front pads, took things apart a day ago and went in to finish up today, and it isn't clear to me (and my memory) which way the anti-rattle spring goes. The ends go into the holes in the pad. But does the "lump" go behind the pad or on the top? And does the center part of the spring go in closest to the rotor or away from it.
I thought I could just look at the other side, but it's missing this spring, so no good. Found a few different pics online, and no obvious winner as to how it is meant to go, but a lot of ideas out there. And the shop manual I have does not show the details of how it goes in other than it wraps around the lower pin.
Anyone know for sure how this spring is supposed to go in? (and any ideas on where I can get the missing one)?

Think I figured it out (enlarged some of the pics in the Toy Shop Manual).
It appears from the manual pics, that this spring is supposed to go in so that the center loop of the wire goes closest to the disk. The ends go into holes in the pad backer plates. And the "lump" goes over the top of the pads. So this spring is mostly holding the pads down towards the axle, rather than pushing them out.
If anyone knows different, I'd like to know...

is yours like this? I put 2 on each caliper . this isn't my caliper , but mine uses those same springs

Yup, Just like that, and that's how I decided it it supposed to go. However when I was searching the net, I did see some pics with a different routing of that same spring.
FWIW, the "genuine" toyota shop manual I have shows only 1 such spring per caliper, on the lower pin.

true on the 1 per caliper , but I was reading somewhere that with 2 it evens the wear on both sides even , but im not sure if thats true or not I just did 2 anyways
