87 22re wiring issue. I'm stumped!

So I've been trying to re-wire up portions of me ECU and I've got 90% done so far, but I've come to a brick wall. When trying to wire in the check connector I've come upon an issue.;

Connector VF at the check connector goes to terminal T on the ECU, which which is defined as "Check connector" However, on my ECU harness, there is, and to my knowledge, never was a wire at that terminal.

Connector E1 at the Check connector goes to terminal "DF" on the ECU, according to the FSM. Could this be a typo, as "VF" on the FSM is also called Check connector. I think this may be probable, as to jump terminals T and E1 short the ECU to give codes, and terminal T connects to ground.

I'm really trying to figure this out because my check engine light comes on sometimes and i would really like to be able to pull the code...

Also, would it be possible to jump T and/or VF at the ECU to ground to pull the code or would this just fry my ECU?

Also, i know its a crap load of reading and any help would be greatly appreciated, I've been pulling my hair out on this for way too long.

Third also, I've attached a visual aid so maybe that will help.

Did you notice the wire-color callouts?

It looks like T is Gray-Yellow, and connects to T on the ECU. VF is Green-Black, and connects to DF on the ECU. E1 is always ground; its Brown and connects to E1 on the ECU.

Some poor translator in Tokyo was working too late one night, and your hair is the victim.

So assuming T meets T, VF meets "DF", and E1 is ground, is it safe to say that DF on the ECU Is actually VF?

The only other issue would be that VF on the pin out does not have any wire connected to it on my ECU.

Mine is a '94, so I don't have the right wiring diagrams. On a 90-95, VF1 is the "conditioned" OX1 signal. http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1990-1995...e/heatedox.pdf (meaning, it runs nominally from 0 to about 5v, not 0.4 to 0.9v)

So that is almost certainly what your VF is. Given wire-color callout for "DF" on the ECU, that's where I would hook VF if it was me.

Ok so I got it mostly figured out, but more importantly... I WAS ABLE TO PULL A CODE!!!

Anyways so moving on. The code was 11, which reads as switches

A/C (I have pulled all my a/c components out
TPS sensor
TPS sensor circuit
Computer

I haven't had a chance to diag the TPS, and if it is the computer, I'm thinking it's possible I'm missing a ground.

UPDATE

I had another ongoing issue which was the check engine light would come on when i started to drive, but it would idle for days normally. so i plugged in the scanner when the light was on, and got another code... 12 which is KNS related. found out that was one of the couple of wires that didnt get fixed.

So i just jumped it with regular wire, not RFI suppression wire. Do i HAVE to use RFI wire or is it fine just as is.

Anyways, got that little monkey off my back (I think).

If "KNS" is Knock Sensor, it is designed to be connected with shielded wire, with the shield grounded at one end (not both ends). I'm not sure what RFI wire is, but I'll bet rg59 (vanilla cable-tv wire) would work.
