86-95 year model get together?

I know Yotatech has some yearly get togethers but I was wondering about a gathering of folks with similar year models. What do ya'll think of doing a spring time run in the southwest (Arizona/New Mexico) for a weekend meet and greet and a little wheeling? I think it'd be nice to look at other rigs similar to mine and be able to put a face to the YT login name that I see every day.

I can start looking at trails and getting an idea of what may or may not work for 86-95 yotas. With regards to my rig I'm not looking for anything hardcore, just a weekend of campfires, beer (if you do that sort of thing), some fishing if we can find water and a little wheeling.

Thoughts? If this is something that will work I'll begin setting it up after the first of the year and post it in the right section. I'll need a couple of months to take a look at the road closures and trail reports so I don't plan a run on a closed trail.

In the summer of 07 I drove my yota from NJ to Las Vegas and back with 215,000 miles on it. The only issue I ran into was I developed a slight exhaust manifold leak which I ended up fixing by tightening the back manifold bolt. My 22re really hated the Rockies with 31's and 4.10's. Some spots I was turning 4k in 3rd gear only to still be in the slow lane getting blown by.
