'86 22re Rough Idle... Vacuum leak?

Hey all! I recently picked up a 1986 22re Toyota Pickup with a 5 speed manual and I love it to pieces but I'm having a few issues with it.

The first thing is that it idles really rough. Sometimes it's bad enough that the whole truck shakes. It varies from day to day but generally floats in the 600-900 range.

The second thing is that if I drive it for about 15 minutes it will sometimes die at stop lights and the only way to keep it going is to keep a little pressure on the gas pedal. This is doesn't happen all the time and I'm able to work around it pretty easily but I still think its related to the idle.

I bought the truck off a guy that used it as a farm truck and I know its spent most of the past 2 years sitting for months at a time. I cleaned the air filter and tried changing the plugs but that didn't help so I figured I'd search for wisdom here before I started too many throwing parts at it.

One of my thoughts was that it was a vacuum leak, but I sprayed around the intake manifold with carb cleaner and didn't find anything. I can hear a bit of hissing sound like someone is spraying compressed air near the intake manifold, but I'm not sure it thats a leak or the intake just doing its thing.

So is it a leak I'm hearing? Is there something that could have clogged up while it was sitting?

Those are the only symptoms I know but I would be happy to answer any other questions. Thanks in advance!
