4runners and trucks with 33x12.5 inch tires
can you show me some pics, i wanna see how much they stick out the side. Is 3.75 the correct backspacing for BJ spacers/coil lift?

As for sticking out/backspacing/lift - I don't know. But No lift/stock rims they are about 1.5" to 2" outside the fender.

Heres my truck that is set up with 1" RB body lift ,1.5" BJ lift, rear shackle lift and front diff drop. The inner fender and front valance clears on the turn without rubbing issues. My tires is 33 x 12.5 on 15 x 10 MT classic II's and you have to google it up on the backspacing but the tires stick out for sure.Im running 4:88 Precision gears and the truck runs really smooth easy on the hills on fourth gear. Im running my TG ceramic clutch and it feels soft on the pedal but really grabs on the shifting.

I think the only reason you need 3.75 backspacing is with a bracket lift. Don't take my word on it, thats what i think.
Here is my 4runner with 33X12.50's and a 4" bracket lift

35x12.5's not 33's but still the same width and look as the 33's on 8" rims and 3.75 backspacing 4" bracket lift and as far as I know you need the backspacing only for the bracket lift I maybe wrong on that but I belive it is correct.

you need 3.75" backspacing, or less, with any IFS bracket type lift.
this is because of the extension that bolts to the steering knuckle which raises the upper control arm in relation to the axle centerline. without the more shallow backspacing the inner lip of the rim will grind on the end of the upper control arm.
they are not absolutely necessary with ball joint spacers, but will help the appearance of the vehicle- give it a slightly wider stance.

Yes, If you run bj spacers OR a bracket lift 3.75" wheels is needed. Only if you want to run a wide tire. If you run a pizza cutter you would be fine with stockers.
I got tons of pics of my ride on my cardomain. Wheels have 3.5" backspacing.
