4Runner smells funky. We think it's coming out of the Exhaust. Only smells when it's running / driving It's really bad, you can taste it, makes your clothes smell and makes your eyes water really bad. It does not smell like rotten eggs. Id rather smell that than what we smell. You can only smell it when the windows are rolled down. Any suggestions on what this might be?

It has a 3.0L v6

Mine does it too, on my 04, my 06, and my 92, however it only happens when the rear window is down and your suckign the exhaust fumes into the vehicle

I also get some from the front on mine with the cracked exhaust manifold but was just letting you know it's common.

Mine did get better on my92 once i put the new muffler setup on it, but the way the wind works, I've had good luck just not rolling around with it all the way down, about half way down and there is no smell FYI
