4Runner head gasket went ---now for sale

for anyone interested in parts or a junker to pull parts off from? my '94 4Runner blew a head gasket yesterday and I don't have the time or energy to fix it. It ran great until the head gasket gave way and no longer mobile. It now sits in connecticut.

94 Toyota 4Runner SR5 for sale. Needs a new head gasket but other wise ran great before it went on 9-18-08.

210,000 miles
Tires less than a year old
silver in color

4wd V6 3L automatic and the body is solid with the exception of a few rust spots on the rear quarter panels and rear bumper. The frame has no rust. I have maintenace records and the front end stearing relays and rods were recalled and repaired with new parts by Toyota a little over a year ago. I put a new muffler on before last winter. The tires and rims alone are worth $800.

Bingo!! I'm thinking I'd love to pick up a cheap 2nd gen with a blown 3.0 and swap. I've seen them as low as $600-800. With a $1000 motor and an ORS wiring harness, I bet you could have a good running 2nd gen for $2500 total

I have cross-posted this on craigslist as well with a few pictures. If anybody PMs me their email I will send some photos. I was hoping to get $1000 to cover what I have invested in it. But I would find it hard to refuse a reasonable offer. I am in Tolland CT about 30 minutes outside of Hartford. Dropping a 3.4L would be ideal. The underpowered V6 3L let a lot to be desired.

I will try and post some pic but the 48 kb size limit for attaching photos is making it difficult.

Cheers,Eric

Called toyota and the HG was already fixed once under the recall by the previous owner back in 98.

So they have already done their fix.
