4runner 84-89 rear seat belt interchange with 90-95?

I have a first gen 4runner and I must have misplaced the rear seat belts or accidentally thrown them away when I took out the interior last time. The likelyhood of me finding them locally is a bit slim and I don't really want to pay ebay prices for them either. I see a lot of second gen 4runners at the local pick and pulls around here.

I have the belts/strap side and they are the version that mount in the wall on each side of the 4runner. Will the buckles from a second gen click in to these? I ask because the second gen back seat is so similar to the 1st gen.

If they won't click in then I'd imagine that I could pull the buckles and strap side from the second gen and just swap them in to the back. If I do this they don't need to be the style that fits into the wall.

I also need a front passenger belt as well (buckle side that bolts to the floor next to the center console). Will one of these from a second gen click in to the existing buckle in a 1st gen?

I know that this would be a very easy thing to answer by simply going to the yard and checking, however that is still an hour trip for me at the least and there is only one 4runner there now. The odds that it would have these parts left (it's been there a while) is a bit slim. I'm hoping someone has a little experience with this and can save me a fair bit of time. I appreciate any info.

I ended up taking my a retractable belt for the back seat with me to the junk yard and it seemed like every belt and buckle I could find in a 84-95 was compatible with it. I grabbed a whole bunch of buckles and belts. Enough for 3 seat belts in the back and also retractable shoulder belts for the window seats in the back if I decide to go that route.

Figured I would post up in case someone was wondering the same thing.
