3VZ Engine Block Question

Hi there, can anybody tell me the differences between the 89-92 and the 93-95 3VZ engine block and if they are interchangable...can the older versions 89-92 be retro fitted with Hydraulic tensioners? Also, is the 3VZ-FE Camry block the same as the 3VZ Truck Block. The pistons are different but i think the rods and crank are the same. Can 3VZ-FE block be used on a 3VZ-E engine?.Any info will help..Thanks.

i dont think there are to many differences between the years, and yes the hydrolic tensioner can be put on probly with the newer oil pump housing. as for the camry block i think all the motor mount bolt are lined up different and some other things are different.
