    There, now the photo is my little display picture. I think the tires on it now are like 30" or 31" road terrain tires. If there is anyone anywhere near Va. Beach that would be willing to help me pull the body lift off, and I suppose replace the shocks while we are at it, I would be hugely grateful. This thing looks kinda rediculous sitting so high. At least I have 33x12.5's to put on it.... Gotta count for something visually. . . .

    Yeah ditch the body lift when you get a chance. If you were closer I would help. Im sure if you post in the regional forum you will find some help.

    I'm pretty stoked. Also, I liked how direct you were with your answer. "It's going to look dumb..." at first I was like, "hey jerk, calm down..." Then I was like, well, that is WHY I am trying to see what it looks like, because I know it's going to look stupid. Plus, it's going to be top heavy as heck. BOO! I'll check the regional out, and don't worry, there will be plenty of pics to come. Coincidently, I just got me a Nikon D7000 as a second body for shooting weddings and as a daily camera, so I'm not toting the $2400 camera around everywhere I go. As soon as I get this thing I'm cleaning it up and taking it out to do some photos of it somewhere.

    Can anybody verify if the procomp shocks are a direct replacement when doing the LC coil/ball joint spacer lift? I saw one person posted about needed an eyelet to stud adapter?

    The Performance Products Springs are discontinued. I believe they were only available for 3rd Generation 4Runners (96-02). They provided about 1" lift depending on the year of the 4Runner. I don't think they will work on your 2nd Generation 4Runner.

    Quick ? about the Panhard drop bracket from 4Crawler. I'm doing LC80 coils. Did you guys just go with the 4" bracket? Or the custom one?

    Most go with the 4" with the LC coils:

    Note: This drop bracket kit is the perfect addition to to complete the popular Landcruiser coil spring swap. The cruiser coils give about 3"-4" of lift and that works great with the 4" panhard drop bracket to keep your rear axle centered under the vehicle after the lift.
    Or install the springs and measure the panhard bar offset and go with that:

    I do not remember the part number, but I put PP Springs and Bilstein replacement shocks on my 95 4R and I gained about 2 inchs of lift in the rear. My stock rear springs were totally shot. As far as I can tell, the rear is now 1 inch over stock and makes the 4runner level.

    OK. I've ordered my balljoint spacers and panhard drop bracket. Now my parts guy is flaking out on me... he's had a week to source the LC coils and now says he can't find them. Where (other than a junkyard, I want new) are you guys getting them?

    So far, I've found them at Rockauto.com (part# RC6731 if that's right?) for $55 each. Does that sound about right?

    Also... (and yes, I've read this thread a few times) I'd love a bit of input about which shocks you guys went with and how you like them now that it's been a few miles? For me, the 4Runner is a 90% daily driver/commuter and 10% off-road, trails and mud. No rock crawling for me.

    Grrr. can't find LC coils anywhere. Everything else is ordered. The only place I found them is Rockauto and they are coming from Europe so they want $135 for SHIPPING!

    Why not just buy used ones? Thats what everyone else does. I bought a set off of craigslist for like $50

    Can't find anything. Even using Craigslist or searchtempest.com
