I picked up a 1990 Toyota Pickup about 3 mo. Ago, I lowered it, and welded the diff, have been sliding it all over the place.
Unfortunately, it had 312k on the motor, and didn’t take the constant abuse well, I have developed rod knock.
I have a 2jzge and computer laying around from a friends old is300, if I wanted to put this motor in my truck what would be needed?
i know motors mounts, but if I wanted to bolt the stock w55 to it, would I just use the is300 w55 clutch and equipment?
Would it be a drop in swap at that point, to me it seems as easy as getting the motor mounts, bolting w55 to it, dropping it in the truck and wiring ecu, somebody correct me if I’m wrong please.
