22rte swap problems: 22RTE wiring harness and 22re cab harness??
I have the 22RTE ECU, the 22RTE engine wiring harness, and the 22re cab wiring harness.
The 22re cab wiring harness has an extra plug that does not match that of the 22RTE engine wiring harness. Do i have to change out the 22RTE engine harness? do i have any other options? Will that solve my problem or is some splicing in order?
This is the last step to my swap, completely forgot about it until I turned the key and it went click. Then I remembered the extra plug by the ECU that I never found a home for.
any help is appreciated!
thanks!!

what does the plug look like?
There should be 4or5 (I can't remember how many go into the ECU) yellow plugs on the harness near the ECU two are up a ways and the others go directly into the ECU. They are all shapped differently and you can not get it wrong. I've never done the swap but I have removed and replaced plenty of the ecu's and harnesess.

ecu plugs
yup, there were a few yellow plugs that went right into the ecu no problem, but there is one plug on the cab's wiring harness and one plug on the engine's wiring harness that are left over. The ecu has all its plugs in, its just these two other large plugs that don't match. i'm guessing its because the motor harness is a 22rte and the cab harness is for a 22re. what should i do? i'll try and upload photo's later....
