I all fairness, I would not want to pull a head off more than once a year, much less a day. If you have to do that you missed something basic. Pain in the arse, which I think is your point.

Easier to do it once, do it right, make it last.

But it can certainly be done in a day.

Someone who knows what they're doing can pull a head on a 22re pretty quick. Someone who hasn't not so much. You both have good points.

take the time to bag and tag.. and you will have that engine out in a hour or 2..

You need to find out, if you engine was burning oil or if someone drainned your oil...

you will be able to tell once you tear it down..

i know i would beat some on in the face with a brass hammer if i found out they drainned my oil ...

keep up the good work, let get that yota back on the road...
