22re to r150f help

ok so i am in the process ofconverting my truck to 4wd and im trying to decid on a clutch/flywheel/pressure plate combo to use i am going from a 22re to a r150f (the v6 one) if i get the 22rte flywheel, will my v6 clutch an pressure plate bolt up to the v6 tranny

The clutch and pressure plate don't bolt to the tranny. They bolt to the flywheel. But that's a little beside the point...actually.

That point being...what you really need is the bellhousing from an R151F(22R-TE 4WD tranny). Because that's what will bolt to an R150F(V6 4WD tranny) and your 22R-E. Or you'll need to buy the adapter to fit an R150F to a 22R-E tranny's bellhousing. Whichever's feasible...

ahhhh i meant bolt to the flywheel opps i have the bellhousing (got it off ebay for 100 dollars shipped) not bad imo cause i havent been able to find one for months and i want my 2wd to 4wd project done
i think i might just get a new ceramic clutch and use my same flywheel and pressure plate

Any build thread for this? We almost did this to an 89 2WD, but ended up buying a motorless/trannyless 86 rolling drive train (4WD) and throwing the 89 cab on it.

How will you go about frame modification? The trans crossmember is in a different location and of different size and will the front end support IFS 4x4 arms and torsion bars?
