22re No Idle and surging at 1700 RPM
No Idle - dies. 86 4X4 Truck has been sitting for six years. Had 2nd cylinder miss and rough Idle. Replaced plugs, hoses, Tested and adjusted TPS to Spec, tested AFM checks good and adjusted timing.
I had to take vacuum line from Cruise control and attached to A/C VSV vent which has no cap. Idles good.
Want to remove Cruise suction but motor dies. How does applying suction to the Idle up valve increase Idle?
EGR Bad? Does the EGR provide pressure or suction for the system? Could it be a sticking pcv?
High speed miss noticeable at 1700 RPM like something kicking in.
