22RE Clutch and Ignitor Questions

Ok so i have a 92 2wd toyota and im putting a new clutch in it it but no matter what i do i just simply cannot get the top bolt on the tranny out on the passenger side if anyone has any tricks please let me know....second ?.... my ignitor when i pulled the wire that runs to my distributor off the red section on the ignitor is cracking and breaking so now it wont run.....can that red piece be replaced or do i need a new ignitor

Are you saying the bolt is frozen into the hole or trying to get access to it? If just trying to get acces to it, I would just suggest pulling the tranny and motor out in one piece. So much easier to get to it and connect the two back together.

On my two wheel if there is to much work involved I will pull the whole assembly. That is one advantage to 2wd.

I not familiar with the red piece right off on your igniter. On my 86 the red is on the coil. Just replace the coil if I am reading this right.

If you are just needing a little more leverage, and can get a wrench to it, this trick might work for you. Just keep the wrenchs square with each other.
