22r/RE propane build Q?s
im going to post this here..i couldnt think of another spot but if its in the wrong place mods please move..
so its going to be inevitable that im going to have to rebuild my 22r...but wheeling it these past few weeks has really made me think of going propane (carb dies EVERYWHERE) so..im thinking of buying a rebuildable block and rebuilding it for propane..with that being said what kind of things can i do to get the most performance out of propane?
ive read that its like having a higher octane gas, so you can run higher compression ratio's? true/false?
if so how much higher compression should i be able to go?
and would alot of bore and a stroker kit be better?
ive already got some propane performance idea's from other builds..like an eairly EFI plenum and supra TB..and i would suppose the regular like header and port and polish the head annnd maybe bigger valves if $$ allows..ive been thinking about this alot lately and reading a good bit...ive currently been reading through mr stubbs build on pirate..but good god theres alot to go through..
i wanted to get ur guys's take on this and idea's..thanks
