alot more power with less throttle. I personally stand beside these carbs. although mine currently went JUNK. :o)

Only prob i had was overfueling. Blew alot of black smoke along truckside by the exhaust. I'm sure that could be fixed with a little jetting.

another thing is you will need switched 12v wires cuz this carb has 2 solenoids that are required for proper function.

What kind of mileage are you guys experiencing from the 38 weber? I thought about it but, if it kills the mileage then you might as well throw in a 350.
I pull a lawn trailer and am looking for more power but do not want to loose my good mpg when on the highway and around town without the trailer. Thanks

Update...I got the carb and high rise on today. It runs much better but I cannot figure out where the 1 vacuum line by the adjust screw goes? It runs fine without it hooked up just a odd idle...Where does this hook up?

I thought it hooked up to the vacuum thing on the dist cap but there is 2 lines there and I dunno which one to hook it too. I took off all emissions and unused vacuum lines and blocked the whole in the head off. Its louder and even with the loose vacuum line it will jump up and run. I just need some help hooking that line up.

Will get pics if anyone is intested...My egr block is homemade and will be there until I get the one I order. I used a piece of 16GA metal stud, a chopsaw and grinder to get it to cover the hole and bolt up. Soon I will be doing a valve adjustment. Thanks all for any help

for the vaccum advance. Pulls distributor when throttling hard for advanced timing for more power on the top end. No need to plug the other unless your planning to do sum serious water forging

it might be old but you never know... maybe the OP is still active and has some pictures. I wish I could afford to rip the EFI from my 22re and throw on a 38/38 or DCOE's
