1994 V6 4runner headlight/taillight issue
Greetings one and all!
I'm new at this,so please bear with me...
I have a 1994 V6 4runner with a strange issue....whenever my headlights are on, my driver side brake light does not work, but ONLY when the headlights are on, I have NO idea where to even begin to track this little 'issue' down, it just started out of the blue one day, then a friendly local police officer pointed it out to me one night LOL
Thanks!

An incandescent bulb, like your stop and tail lights, take a 12v and a ground. They share the ground connection, so if the ground wire (usually white w/black stripe) breaks, the 12v seeks a path from the battery through the taillight through the stop light over to another stop light to ground. So your stop lights are on continuously (though dimmer) whenever the taillights are on.
Use a multimeter (every computer geek has one) to trace out the wires. Probably in the back in the taillight section.
