1993 sr5 4x4 truck egr valve wires

The two wires pulled out of the egr valve wire connector, at the connector. one is brown and the other is green with a yellow stripe. Does anyone know which side of the connector these brown and green wires go into.....right side or left side?

Though, since the sensor is a thermistor, the polarity may not matter.

I was able to pry out the green rubber fittings out of the connector ,expose a small bit of additional wire by stripping the insulation, slide the rubber fitting over the wire and reinsert the wires into the connector and then push the rubber fittings back into the connector.
