Gents , i have changed the tank&fuel pump due to rust from sitting up for years. Truck ran great for 30 plus miles i was down shifting to a complete stop at a stop sign with clutch in motor stalled lights came on dash cluster , spun over but would not crank , pushed to side of road 5 minutes later cranked an ran great for 4 miles until i down shifted killed again . Got a push back home the next day cranked right up , heated up to operational temp, test drove a mile killed engine back in the drive way it will bot crank now On passenger side ECM i think is clicking like a relay after spinning motor over. I have 12volts at +B on diognostic in engine compartment, when i jump FP to +B I have nothing as far as fuel pump running. Gents i would greatly appreciate any advice!

Well I can only guess Just what fuel pump??
Poor connection at the fuel pump connection ??
Cheap one size fits all pump quit??
Jumping out the B+ to FP bypasses all the safeties .
It has to be in a super quiet garage to hear the fuel pump run if the filter is now blocked it will only burn out trying to push through the blockage.
No mention of changing filter was that just an over site??
All the rust in the lines is now in the filter.
You have a failure to start issue.
Failure to crank means it does nothing(does not turn over) different people use different terms.

Pump issue
Thanks Wyoming9 , I performed a simulated test with old fuel pump. Its definitely the fuel pump. Do you recommend any other brand of pump other than Denso, or?

I just got a new denso FP from sparkplugs.com
$110 for the base and $120 for the kit which includes a few goodies like the pre pump filter catch thing.
Pretty darn good deal for an OEM fuel pump. I suggest you go with the denso! Makes the car start up on a dime!
