1992 pick up compatible seat belts

My driver's side seatbealt is destroyed due to the spring popping out and the middle piece (the one that the spring attaches to) being lost. I feel stupid and ignored the DO NOT REMOVE COVER warning, but the slack in the belt was more than I could take anymore.

Are there seat belts from any other car makers that will fit my truck? If not, where are the best places besides a Toyota dealer ($$$$$) to buy a straight forward replacement driver's seat belt and retractor at a reasonable price. I only need one, not a set like most websites try to sell.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Jason

Id try a wrecking yard unless your dead set on buying a new one. Like most Toyota parts a good used OEM part can usually outlast a new aftermarket part.

Im pretty sure that the 4runners use the same style of seat belts in the front so that should give you some more options when your looking

I tried all the local and online salvage yards to no avail. I also looked at a ton of sites with aftermarket "direct fit" belts. After reading about a hundred mixed reviews about these supposed direct fits, I went ahead and ordered a genuine Toyota replacement. I don't want to have to spend any extra time "McGyvering" the thing when it comes to installing it. I've done too much of that in my life - sometimes with good results, but lots of headaches too. Life's too short. It's a pain in the ass to always strap it on anyway. Not saying they don't save a lot of lives. I guess I think of them as a necessary evil. :dunno:

The site I found with the lowest price genuine Toyota belt and best shipping options is www.oemparts123.com .

I appreciate your reply.
