1986 turbo,2.4l automatic with overdrive xtra cab

this truck runs but has no power.It has a 7 inch lifti dont know if it was re geared but driving this thing sucks right now any tips?

I'd lift the rear and spin the tires. see how many round it takes for the d-shaft to spin in order for the tires to go one round. if it's a little more than 4 then you have 4:11 if 4 adn 1/2 then you have 4.56 if a little more than half you have 4.88.
It also help if you tell us the tire size.

more than likley though the turbo is bad, they burn through the exhaust part and then don't produce any boost.how many miles?

We can also take a guess at your axle ratio if you could tell us how many rpm's your engine pulls at a specific speed and a specific gear (EX: 3000 rpms @ 70 mph in 5th gear). You also need to tell us what size tires you have (maybe measure with a tape measure too). It seems that if you have a 7" lift, you're going to have some pretty big tires on that thing, and it's hard to say if the axles have been re-geared.

just look on the door jamb sticker and tell us the stock tire size also .they makes it real easy.

they are 33" turbo works im gonna give it a real good tune up new injectors plugs wires look for any vacum leaks did a comp test all 4 cyls were at 130 thats good

how do you know the turbo works?
you hook a boost gauge to it ,if so what did you get?

no i went by the light on the dash and sound i havent gotten that far yet to check any help would be gratefull how do i check it
