1986 extended cab 4x4 axel options
 

New to the site and Toyota's. I just bought an 86 extended cab 4x4, and the rear axel and drive shaft need to be replaced. It is a 5 speed with a 22r. Will an 88 4runner v6 work for a parts truck? Not sure what my gear ratio is either.

should be 4:10's and a direct swap .. + a stronger V6 cradle
