16" rims
So I just picked up a 92 4runner. It needs a bunch of stuff before it's driveable (exhaust, head gasket, alignment, tires) so I'm trying to keep my costs down as much as possible.
So here's my question: I gotta set of 16" who knows what brand mud tires with decent tread left in my garage. I got em for free off a buddy that works at a tire shop. What vehicle would I find a set of steel 16"rims that would fit my truck? I searched the forum and found out you got make the hub hole bigger on a chevy rim, so that's an option. But then there's no centre caps (somebody mentioned you should have center caps for going through mud holes) and I'd prefer not to drill the rim out. Any advice would be appreciated |
i did not have to drill /dremel / or mod my rims at all.
they came off a 98 chev yukon 4x4 . 16x8 265/75/16 they rub just a bit when turning at full lock and hitting bumps |
16" steelies are pretty cheap, or you could find some 16's off another Toy truck. Maybe some old spares...
