Window regulator question

Window regulator question
Hello all. I have an 85 pickup with manual window regulators. The problem is that the passengers side window will come out of the window regulator if you attempt to roll it down. The rubber piece that the glass sits in inside of the regulator itself is gone. Its not in the bottom of the door either. Was trying to find one online with no luck. The regulator operates as it should. Does anyone know where to find one?

You can use make shift rubber or similar material shim to wrap around the glass and get it to wedge in place. An automotive glass shop may have something. You can even use some sort of adhesive. IDK if there's a factory part available but you can look it up. I know most of the glass run stuff still is. I ordered mine from Amayama.
Good luck with it and please follow up with your fix.

I was going to use some zip tape on the glass and then lexcel sealant in the track. I would much rather use the original rubber. Thank you guys for all of the info. I tried posting videos from my phone, but it says incorrect file.

Put some ranger wheels on her
Got it for a steal, I think. Former owner ran it out of gas and never got it going. The new, but crappy, fuel pump was plumbed wrong and bad. The plug wires were on wrong too. It has a reman carb that i put a kit in. Only 145,000 miles!

Go to https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/ and search either of the following part numbers: 69971-89103 or 69971-89104, or click the numbers here if they are still hyperlinked. Either one should work. Be advised that the rubber filler piece needs to be glued into the metal channel that holds it, and it would also be wise to take some pliers and 'pinch in' the metal channels a bit first. The rubber filler piece holds the glass in the channel by press fit and friction.
